Top 8 Songs (Finalized)
Alright, this will be my list of top anime songs in no particular orders. They’re based one of the longest time I’ve listened to the song for the first song without stopping lol.
- Reason – Nami Tamaki (Gundam Seed Destiny 1st ED)
This is one of the main elements that made me continue watching GSD. Vocals good. Song’s good. GSD is a very good series and after watching it, I’ve continued listening to this song for a long time non-stop while playing Maple Story or Starcraft. - Lillium – Kumiko Noma (Elfen Lied OP)
Lily was the first person that introduced this series to me three years ago. But I’ve only watched the whole first episode including the OP. I’m not trying to spoil it, but the OP sucked and the anime itself is.. disturbing. So I stopped watching it for a year until Denis forced me to watch the again at his house. After watching the whole series, the entire storyline made the song sound really good. It inspired me to play the piano ver. of Elfen Lied. I managed to get the right hand part right but I failed horribly on the left. Beautiful Song. - Just Communication – TWOMIX (Gundam Wing 1st OP)
Excellent Song. Albert played this song at his house on Stepmania then I grew interested in that song. To be honest I haven’t watched Gundam Wing yet. It’s the very first song I’ve listened to while riding in my van all the way to Toronto. - Madder Sky – Kotaro Nakagawa (Code Geass R2 BGM)
OMG SUPERB SONG. Very nicely orchestrated. Enough said… because I don’t want to spoil it. - Song of Storm and Fire – Yuki Kajira (Tsubasa Chronicles BGM)
As expected of Yuki.. who does almost all the BGM songs from Tsubasa. I listened to it for the first time as a background music from the MapleStory Horntail Event youtube video. When I first hear it, I felt amazed and I was desperate to find where that song come from. After finding out the name of the song, I watched it. The anime even made the song more better. - God Knows – Aya Hirano (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi Insert Song)
When I first listened to it in the anime, I can’t stop listening to it again. It’s that awesome lol. Sorry, my explanation for this is too short. - Last Regrets- Ayana and Key (Kanon 2006 OP)Ahh.. Denis (Xiniti) recommended me this song back when we were both in grade 12. We were bored sitting in biology class as hell then Denis recommended me the anime Kanon 2006. I haven’t watched the original Kanon and not even going to lol. So I went home and watched Kanon and GAWD it’s amazing first episode. I marathoned the series and it took around 2 days to finish it. Song’s so good, vocals are really done well and it fits in the anime PERFECTLY. Ironically, after watching this series, I played that song while playing Starcraft. Yes, I know that song does not go well with Starcraft if you know what I mean. Even though it’s number 7, it’s one of my top 5 songs.
- Dogfight – M.O.V.E (Initial D OP)
Lily was trying to make me watch Initial D but I couldn’t get a chance to watch it. I blamed the availiabilty of downloads because there were like negative Initial D downloads and the torrents for it were scarce. Around a year later, I slept over at my cousin’s house (aka the Starcraft Detox Centre, named by Lily because I couldn’t play Starcraft online =[ ) Anyways, my cousin was playing that song often and I’m slowly getting addicted to this song. That made me play Stepmania on that song like 10x straight with the different difficulty or didn’t steps.
Alright there you have it. The reason I picked 8 songs is that 8 is my favorite number.
